So the firm started functioning in 2003. What happened after that?
Yes we started from 2003, after that in 2005 we started platform cleaning, the first ever,mechanised railway platform station cleaning services in India, being Jabalpur Railway station for which we got a contract for a valuation of Rs.83,000 per month and for 3 years duration and we got many best cleaning awards from GOI and the local authorities for this feat. After that, all of India mechanised contracts were mushrooming. Then we started similar Platform cleaning services in Raipur, Durg, Bhilai, Patni, Nagpur, Wagah, Gondia , Solapur etc. So we started our journey like this servicing a total of 45 stations with 600+ staff strength. Then we started coach cleaning services as well as we got the govt tenders. This is how our business expanded.
How many staff persons were employed at that time?
We made a humble beginning with a handful of employees. Soon the team attained bigger numbers. Today we have over a 1000 people in our payrolls.
When did you start your Waste Management services?
We started another new Company called Ultra Waste Management Services way back in 2015, soon after swachbharat was launched by the Indian Govt.
What is your background?
I belong to an ordinary middle class family and both my parents were service holders. I am a Graduate and have pursued higher studies as well.
What is your pillar of strength?
Well this is a bit difficult to answer. I am a first generation entrepreneur. My mother was a school teacher and my father was a central Govt. employee in the Ordnance Factory in Jabalpur. My elder brother is also a business person.
Any plan for expansion beyond Jabalpur?
No, not at the moment. I have worked in Maharashtra and the Vidharva region. We have had offices in Nagpur Bhopal & Indore. We have the bandwidth to work on a pan –India scale. In M.P. we have our head office in Jabalpur and in Chattisgarh we have our main Branch office in Raipur. Beyond these two places as of now, we do not have any expansion plans.
Ultra Clean & Care Services is one of India’s first Mechanized Cleaning services providers for Indian Railways. We are pioneers in Mechanized Housekeeping Services in Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh and also deal in sustainable waste management.
What pinnacles of success do you wish to see in 5 years?
We are the fastest growing fully integrated facility, waste and sewage management Company in Central India today. In next 5 years I want the combined turnover of Ultra Group to touch the coveted 50CR+ mark. In this fiscal year we hopefully will cross 20 CR +. God willing--we must.
The success that you have achieved, how did you strive towards it?
It is all about hard work and dedication. It pays. I have spent sleepless nights working on the Station platforms and on site, supporting my Team Managers Vikash Rajak, Rakesh Tiwari at their work supervision and teamwork was good. This close monitoring and working hand in hand, in fact helped me to build my team.
How did the name ULTRA GROUP come into existence?
When I used to work in the marketing channels for Eureka, a staff member had suggested the name Ultra and I liked it and much later--- Ultra Group was born.

Trans Bio-Filter™ Wastewater treatment plant is a bed of organic material which supports hybrid earthworms and microbes that break down solids and converts it to carbon dioxide, water, and nutrients.
